Société Générale has been present in Poland since 1976, when it opened a representative office in Warsaw. After the political breakthrough of the end of the 1980s, it was transformed into a fully operational Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking branch in 1992. The branch offers a broad range of corporate and investment banking products and services such as: debt and structured finance products, investment products, currency and money market services. The branch also provides corporate cash management, trade services and custody services.

Besides the branch, Société Générale group is represented in Poland by six other entities (3,700 employees altogether), offering varied financial services: Eurobank (consumer credits), SG Equipement Leasing Polska, ALD Automotive Polska, ECS International Polska, Amundi – private equity, SG Corporate Finance Polska.
