MTN-I have just announced their annual awards to issuers and dealers. Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking has been awarded a Landmark Deal of the year 2007 for our Dexia benchmark Euro extendible transaction. This award is part of the 10 deals recognised in 2007 out of the 27,000 transactions and USD 446bn of structured MTNs traded in the market during the whole year.

It is a clear recognition of the strong franchise SG CIB has built on the Euro extendible bond market over the past two years where we now hold a 45% market share. SG CIB is the only bank to have printed a benchmark size transaction in Euros so far.
