SG CIB acted as a Joint Lead Arranger for a GBP 5.5 billion senior unsecured term loan facility for Kraft Foods. The proceeds from the facility are expected to be used to finance the cash portion of Kraft Foods' offer for Cadbury plc and to refinance certain indebtedness of Cadbury and its subsidiaries. Borrowings under the credit agreement are also available for general corporate purposes of Kraft Foods and its subsidiaries. Kraft Foods is the second largest packaged food and beverage company in the world, with net revenues of USD 42 billion in 2008 and approximately 98,000 employees worldwide.
