Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking has provided financing for the construction of a new, state of the art NHS hospital development in the Southmead region of Bristol that will serve approximately 500,000 people.
 
The hospital which is due to open in 2013, will have 800 beds and will be the most environmentally friendly hospital of its size in the UK with recycled materials being used for the construction of this building. It will offer specialist regional services including neurosciences, plastic surgery, orthopedics, pathology and renal services and the hospital is expected to receive referrals from all over the UK and overseas.
