Didier Valet has been appointed CEO of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking as of 3 January 2012.
He started his career as an Analyst within the Economic and Financial Research Department of Banque Indosuez and then joined Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as Equity Research Analyst. In 2000, he was appointed Head of Societe Generale Securities' European Banking Research team and then became Head of Investor Relations of Societe Generale. Didier was appointed Head of Strategic Performance Management in 2007 and then went on to become Chief Financial Officer in 2008.
He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE). He also received a diploma from Société Française des Analystes Financiers (SFAF).
Christophe Mianné
Deputy CEO of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking
Christophe Mianné has been appointed Deputy CEO of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking as of 3 January 2012. Prior to this he was Head of Global Markets since July 2009.
Christophe Mianné joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1988 in the sales department of the derivatives group and was later the Head of Financial Engineering until 1992 when he was appointed Head of Sales & Marketing for Equity Derivatives. In 1996 he became Deputy Head of the division and was appointed Global Head of Equity Derivatives in 1999. In 2007 he was appointed Head of the Global Equities & Derivatives Solutions division. Christophe Mianné then became the Head of the Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions and the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities divisions in February 2009. He has been a member of the Société Générale Group Management Committee since July 2001 and is also the Chairman of the Board of Lyxor Asset Management.
Christophe Mianné is a graduate of the École Centrale de Paris.
Thierry Aulagnon
Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking
Thierry Aulagnon was appointed Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking in July 2009.He was previously heading the Corporates, Institutions and Advisory Division since January 2007.
Between 1975 and 1996, Aulagnon held several positions in the French Ministry of Treasury including Alternate Executive Director for France at the International Monetary Fund, Advisor to the Cabinet of the Minister of Economy, Finances & Budget, Deputy Director of the Treasury for banking affairs and public debt management, Head of the State Holdings Department and Chief Adviser to the Minister of Economy & Finance. In 1996, he became a managing director of the GAN insurance company. Aulagnon joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 2000 as Senior Banker with responsibility for global relations with a number of large companies, governments and supranationals. He was then appointed Head of Global Investment Banking Division in 2003.

Dan Fields
Head of Global Markets
Dan Fields has been appointed Head of Global Markets as of 3 January 2012. He was previously Deputy Head of Global Markets since February 2011.
Dan Fields first joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1994 as an Equity Derivatives Trader in the bank’s New York office. In 1999, he moved to Sydney, Australia to set up the Equity Derivatives business. He returned to New York in 2002 to set up the Hedge Fund Group for SG Americas Securities, LCC, a registered broker-dealer and subsidiary of Societe Generale. He moved to Paris in June 2006 to head the flow and listed product sales group. He was appointed Global Head of Trading in 2009. Dan is a member of Societe Generale Group Management Committee since January 2011.

Christophe Leblanc has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking as of 3 January 2012. He was previously Chief Operating Officer for Global Markets since 2009.
Christophe Leblanc started his career within the Inspection services of Societe Generale Group, the internal auditing and consultancy unit reporting to the Chairman Office. In 1998, he was named Deputy Chief Financial Officer of SG Cowen in New York, when Societe Generale acquired the US Broker. In 2000, he became Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Americas. In 2001, he became Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking. In 2005, he joined the equity derivatives business as Head of Resources and Sales organisation. In 2007, he became Chief Operating Officer of the Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions division. Since 2009, he was Chief Operating Officer for Global Markets.

Pierre Palmieri
Head of Global Finance
Pierre Palmieri has been appointed Head of Global Finance as of 3 January 2012. He was previously Deputy Head of Global Finance (formerly Capital Raising and Financing) since April 2008. Prior to that, he was Global co-Head of Natural Resources and Energy Financing.
Pierre Palmieri began his career at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1987 in the Export Finance department. Then he took the responsibility for a finance engineering team. In 1994 he joined the commodities finance team and was appointed Global Head of Structured Commodity finance in 2001. His responsibilities were broadened in 2003 to include the mining sector and again in 2005 to include trade finance activities. Pierre is a member of Societe Generale Group Management Committee since January 2011.
Pierre Palmieri is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Tours.
Hikaru Ogata
Chief Executive Officer for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking Asia Pacific
Hikaru Ogata was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking Asia Pacific in 2010.
Prior to that he was as Global Head of Fixed Income Distribution and a member of the Fixed Income Executive Committee of BNP Paribas. Starting his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York within the Mergers & Acquisitions team, Mr. Ogata held positions in the fields of Foreign Exchange and Derivatives in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong before joining BNP Paribas, Hong Kong Branch in 1998. At BNP Paribas, he held several positions: firstly was Head of Derivatives Marketing Group, Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, then Head of the Japanese Fixed Income Sales, and was finally promoted Head of Japan Fixed Income business.

Craig Overlander was appointed CEO of Societe Generale in February 2012. He joined SG in March 2010 as Deputy CEO for Societe Generale Americas, capitalizing on his experience of more than 30 years in investment banking.
Over the span of his career he has held the following senior positions: Global Head of Fixed Income at Wachovia Securities prior to joining SG and Vice Chairman at JP Morgan during the acquisition and integration of Bear Stearns. Craig held numerous management positions at Bear Stearns over his twenty-six years including Head of Fixed Income Global Sales, and then was appointed Co-Head of Global Fixed Income in 2002 and joined the Management Committee in 2007. He has been a member of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s Executive Committee since 2010 and a member of the Societe Generale Group Management Committee since 2011.

David Coxon
Deputy Head of Global Finance
David Coxon was appointed Deputy Head of Global Finance in July 2009. Prior to that, he was Deputy Head of Global Capital Markets Financial Engineering Activites.
Coxon started his career as a solicitor in International Finance at Linklater & Paine's in London and New York , before moving in 1987 to Paribas Capital Markets in New York as a structured finance banker. He returned to London in 1990 with Paribas as Global Head of Structured Finance. In 1996, he moved to Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking as head of UK Financial Engineering, was promoted to Deputy Global Head of Financial Engineering in 1997 and in 2001 became global head of Tax, Debt Advisory and Hybrid Products within the Debt Capital Markets division. In January 2007, Coxon became Global Head of Structuring & Trading before being appointed Deputy Head of Global Capital Markets Financial Engineering Activites in April 2008.
Coxon holds an LLB from the University of Nottingham.

Thierry d’Argent was appointed Global Head of Corporate Finance in April 2012. He was formerly Global Head of Merger and Acquisitions, since 2010.
He joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 2009, as Managing Director and member of the M&A Executive Committee. Previously, he was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, member of the J.P. Morgan’s European Advisory leadership core team and of the firm’s management committee in France. He started his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman in London and was deputy Cabinet Director in the Brussels Federal Government between 1991 and 1992. Then he worked at Barings, latterly as Director, in Paris. He joined J.P. Morgan in 1998. Between 2001 and 2008, Thierry headed J.P. Morgan’s French Mergers & Acquisition franchise.
Thierry d’Argent graduated summa cum laude from the Solvay Business School and the University of Brussels.

Inès de Dinechin was appointed CEO of Lyxor Asset Management in April 2012.
She was formerly Head of Human Resources for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking since 2009 when she also became a member of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s extended Executive Committee.
Inès de Dinechin joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking markets activities in 1991. In charge of Derivatives Sales for French Corporates from 1994, she successively headed French and international teams until 2008. In 1999, she was given additional responsibility for the Fixed Income dealing room in Frankfurt and was also co-head of the Interest Rates Financial Engineering from 2002 to 2004. In 2008, she was appointed Global Head of Fixed Income Structured Products (Rates, Forex, Credit).

Melody Jeannin was appointed Global Head of Communications of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in may 2010. She was previously Deputy Head of Communication and Global Head of Media Relations since 2005.
She joined Société Générale in 1995 in Singapore as Head of Communication for South East Asia. From 1999 to 2001, she was Head of Communication for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong-Kong. From 2002 to 2005, she was Head of Communication for Société Générale Coporate & Investment Banking in the United Kingdom.
Melody Jeannin graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Bordeaux and holds a Post graduate degree in Political and Social Communication from the University of Paris Sorbonne.

Slawomir Krupa began his career in 1996 as an Inspector within Société Générale’s Inspection (Internal Investigations) department. He left the Group in 1999 to found and run an internet start-up in the field of e-finance in Eastern Europe. He joined again in 2002 and continued his work within Société Générale’s Inspection department. He was appointed to the management committee of the department in 2005.

Prior to joining the bank, Christophe Lattuada worked eight years as a Principal in the Paris office of the Boston Consulting Group, where he led numerous strategy assignments in the financial institution and energy sectors.Christophe Lattuada holds a Master in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School Paris.

Deputy Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking
Diony Lebot was appointed CEO for Western Europe in February 2012. She was also appointed Deputy Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking in April 2012. Previously, she was CEO of Societe Generale America, since 2007.
Diony Lebot first joined Societe Generale in 1986 and has spent most of her career in the bank’s structured finance businesses. In 1997 she was appointed Deputy Head of the Financial Engineering department (covering securitization, financial engineering and leasing) before being appointed Global Head of Asset Finance in 2001. She was appointed Head of Corporate Coverage in Europe for the firm’s Corporates & Institutions division in September 2004. She became a member of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s Executive Committee at the end of 2006 and a member of the Societe Generale Group Management Committee in 2007.
She graduated from the University Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris, and holds a Masters in Finance and Tax.
Vincent Mortier

Vincent Mortier was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in April 2012. He was previously Global Co-head of Equity Finance in the Global Equity Flow business line, since 2009.
Vincent Mortier joined Societe Generale in 1996, where he has held several positions: Chief of staff of SG CIB CEO, SG Group Strategy & Development where he was in charge of Central & Eastern Europe and of SG CIB, and Societe Generale Group Internal Audit and Management Consultancy department.

Richard Paolantonacci
Head of Scarce Resources activities
Richard Paolantonacci was appointed Head of Scarce Resources activities in April 2012. From June 2009 Richard Paolantonacci was in charge of management of the Scarce Resources (liquidity, equity, balance sheet) allocated to the Global Markets division.
He joined the Group in 1986, as a Salesperson for French Retail Banking, and Societe Generale’s Inspection (Internal Investigations) in 1988. Subsequently, he was appointed as Deputy Administrative Director, in charge of the Back Office function, Accounting and Management Control from 1993 to 1994 for Societe Generale Suisse (formerly Banque SOGENAL). In 1995, he is appointed Head of Markets. He joins the Equity Derivatives Trading department of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1996, where he becomes Administrative Manager in 2008 and Head of Equity Finance activities in 2009.
Richard Paolantonacci graduated Institut Universitaire de Technologie d’Aix en Provence.
Sylvie Préa
Global Head of Human Resources
Sylvie Préa was appointed Head of Human Resources in April 2012. She was previously Head of Human Resources of Global Investment Management and Services, since October 2009.
Sylvie Préa joined Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking in 1986. She has held a number of Front Office positions, in particular in the fields of international financing and trade, together with corporate sales responsibilities in the aeronautics sector. In 2003, Sylvie took on HR responsibilities, as Head of Human Resources at OPER, then at Corporate level as Head of Human Resources for the HR line in 2006.
Sylvie Préa holds a postgraduate diploma in International Trade at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Thierry Aulagnon was appointed Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking in July 2009.He was previously heading the Corporates, Institutions and Advisory Division since January 2007.
Between 1975 and 1996, Aulagnon held several positions in the French Ministry of Treasury including Alternate Executive Director for France at the International Monetary Fund, Advisor to the Cabinet of the Minister of Economy, Finances & Budget, Deputy Director of the Treasury for banking affairs and public debt management, Head of the State Holdings Department and Chief Adviser to the Minister of Economy & Finance. In 1996, he became a managing director of the GAN insurance company. Aulagnon joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 2000 as Senior Banker with responsibility for global relations with a number of large companies, governments and supranationals. He was then appointed Head of Global Investment Banking Division in 2003.

Diony Lebot first joined Societe Generale in 1986 and has spent most of her career in the bank’s structured finance businesses. She was appointed Head of Corporate Coverage in Europe for the firm’s Corporates & Institutions division in September 2004. He started his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman in London and was deputy Cabinet Director in the Brussels Federal Government between 1991 and 1992. Then he worked at Barings, latterly as Director, in Paris. He joined J.P. Morgan in 1998. Between 2001 and 2008, Thierry headed J.P. Morgan’s French Mergers & Acquisition franchise.

Pierre Palmieri began his career at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1987 in the Export Finance department. Then he took the responsibility for a finance engineering team. In 1994 he joined the commodities finance team and was appointed Global Head of Structured Commodity finance in 2001. His responsibilities were broadened in 2003 to include the mining sector and again in 2005 to include trade finance activities. Pierre is a member of Societe Generale Group Management Committee since January 2011.

Coxon started his career as a solicitor in International Finance at Linklater & Paine's in London and New York , before moving in 1987 to Paribas Capital Markets in New York as a structured finance banker. He returned to London in 1990 with Paribas as Global Head of Structured Finance. In 1996, he moved to Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking as head of UK Financial Engineering, was promoted to Deputy Global Head of Financial Engineering in 1997 and in 2001 became global head of Tax, Debt Advisory and Hybrid Products within the Debt Capital Markets division. In January 2007, Coxon became Global Head of Structuring & Trading before being appointed Deputy Head of Global Capital Markets Financial Engineering Activites in April 2008.

Slawomir Krupa began his career in 1996 as an Inspector within Société Générale’s Inspection (Internal Investigations) department. Alvaro Huete was named Global Head of Syndication in 2010.
Alvaro joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1997 as Director of the Structured Finance Department. He was then appointed Head of Corporates and Institutions and Co-head of Debt Finance in Spain and Portugal before being promoted to Deputy Global Head of Syndication in February 2007 and then Co-Global Head of Syndication since September 2008. Prior to joining Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Alvaro spent three years at Nomura, first in Madrid as Director of the Iberian Desk and then in London as Director of the Corporate Finance Group. Since joining Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking he has covered large corporate clients in the US, was Deputy Head of the Financial Engineering team in Paris, was responsible for Société Generale Corporate & Investment Banking's Latin American network, Deputy Head of the Corporates and Institutions Division for the Americas, and was Deputy Global Head of Natural Resources and Energy Financing as well as Head of the Energy Group for the Americas.

Matthew Vickerstaff was appointed Head of Structured Finance in April 2012. He was previously Global Head of Infrastructure & Asset-Based Finance, position he held since January 2007, and that he had undertaken from Paris, New York and then in London.
Vickerstaff started his career at Hambros Bank in London, with duties in a number of structured finance departments including asset finance. In 1994 he moved to project finance with Hambros Bank before moving to Canada with Hambros, and subsequently Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1998 in order to head up the Americas infrastructure business. He returned to London in 1999 as Global Head of Infrastructure and Environment and in 2003 took up a position as Head of Project Finance for the EMEA region.

Frank Drouet

Franck Drouet was named Head of Global Markets for Asia Pacific in January 2012. He was previously Deputy Head of Global Markets for Asia Pacific, since July 2009.
He joined the Group in 1990, initially working in Nikkei options Basket Trading in Tokyo and then in Basket Trading in Zurich. He transferred to Paris in 1996 to take up the position of Head of Warrants Trading. He was appointed Head of Derivatives Trading, Hong Kong in 1997. In 2003, he moved to Tokyo as Head of Equity Derivatives in Asia. In 2005, he took up the position of Head of Volatility Trading Europe in the Equity Derivatives division.

David Escoffier was appointed Head of Global Equity Flow in April 2012. Prior to that, he was Co-Head of Global Equity Flow since July 2009.
David Escoffier began his equity derivatives career in 1993 at Credit Lyonnais in Paris, before moving to London to create Credit Lyonnais’ UK sales desk. Escoffier moved to New York in 1997 to head Credit Lyonnais’ sales effort in the region. Escoffier then joined SG Cowen in New York, a former subsidiary of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, as Head of Distribution for the Americas. In 2003, he was named Head of Equity Derivatives in London, a position he held until February 2007 when he was appointed Head of Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions in London, reporting to Christophe Mianné, Global Head of Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions. In 2008, Escoffier took over global responsibility for Equity Derivatives Flow & Hedge Fund Group sales.

Patrick Legland was appointed Head of Global Research in July 2009. Prior to that, he was Head of Cash Equities starting in 2006.
Legland joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in January 2003 as Head of pan-European Equity Research and as a member of the SG CIB management board. Focused on independence, innovation and a fundamental approach, Legland led the Pan-European Equity Research team to a top ranking in European equities and to a number-one ranking on French Equities. Before joining SG CIB, Legland was Managing Director responsible for French research at UBS Warburg. Prior to joining UBS, between 1993 and 2000 Legland worked for Paribas Capital Markets where he successively had responsibility for the French product in Paris, managed the Asian research department in Hong Kong and headed the Paribas pan-European research office in London. Prior to this, Patrick Legland was a financial analyst at Phillips & Drew in London.

Richard Quessette

Richard Quessette was named Global Head of Cross Asset Solutions in 2012. He was previously Deputy Global Head of the Cross-Asset Solutions business in charge of Trading activities since 2009.
He started at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1995, working as a technical expert in the trading and pricing of exotic options. In 1998 he was placed in charge of the multi-underlying asset products range in Exotic Trading. In 2001, Richard was appointed Deputy Global Head of Exotic Trading in the Equity Derivatives division (exotic derivatives, alternative investment, mutual funds, hybrid products, etc.), responsible for Europe, US and Asia and subsequently became Head of Exotic Trading in 2004. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Head of Global Trading within the Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions division.

Danielle Sindzingre was appointed Global Head of Fixed Income & Currencies business line in April 2012. She was formerly Global Head of Treasury and Repo, since 2008.
Danielle joined Société Générale in 1997 in charge of covering the Franc and then the Euro within the French treasury activity. In 2001 she became Head of Paris treasury and long term funding. In 2005, she was appointed Deputy Head of the bank treasury activity, repo and arbitrage for the debt platform in Europe and Asia. Before joining Société Générale Danielle worked for 8 years for the Banque Indosuez Group.

Jonathan has over 20 years experience in the Commodities markets, initially in the energy business, but more recently has managed broader Commodities businesses, encompassing Metals and Agricultural products. Jonathan started his career at Mobil in the Supply & Trading group, and has trading, origination and management experience with Barclays Capital, EDF Trading, Dynegy and Enron, and has worked in the UK, the US, Japan, Spain and France.

Vincent Tricon was appointed Head of Societe Generale Mid Cap Investment Banking in 2012. He was previoulsy Head of the strategic management within the Finance Department, since 2008.
He joins Societe Generale in 1987 within the Retail Bank, in charge of professional customers and SMEs. In 1990, he becomes Head of the SG's Central Agency, the Group's oldest establishement. He is appointed Chief of Staff of Societe Generale's CEO in 1992 and moves to London in 1994 as Head of Corporate Cutomers Relations Management. He joins the Corporate & Investment Bank in 1997, working in origination for equity capital markets. In 2006, he is appointed Head of Customers Relations with Media and Telecommunications Corporates.

Inès de Dinechin was appointed CEO of Lyxor Asset Management in April 2012.
She was formerly Head of Human Resources for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking since 2009 when she also became a member of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s extended Executive Committee.
Inès de Dinechin joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking markets activities in 1991. In charge of Derivatives Sales for French Corporates from 1994, she successively headed French and international teams until 2008. In 1999, she was given additional responsibility for the Fixed Income dealing room in Frankfurt and was also co-head of the Interest Rates Financial Engineering from 2002 to 2004. In 2008, she was appointed Global Head of Fixed Income Structured Products (Rates, Forex, Credit).
Inès de Dinechin has a degree in Economics (Paris IX- Dauphine) and a Market Finance MBA (IEP Paris).
