Fondiaria-Sai Fondo Rho

Société Générale acted jointly with 4 other banks as Joint Lead Arranger, Lender and hedge provider for a EUR 266 million Senior Credit Facility to Fondo RHO, in order to finance Fondiaria-Sai sale and lease-back transaction of an instrumental office portfolio.

The 195.000 sqm portfolio is made of 15 assets located throughout Italy which have been contributed by the Fondiaria-Sai group to a newly created real estate fund, Fondo Rho. The fund is managed by FIMIT, one of the largest property fund managers in Italy with more than EUR 5,3 billion of assets under management. The fund's shares are to be placed to institutional investors, and the portfolio is mainly leased to Fondiaria-Sai group under long-term lease agreements.

Fondiaria-Sai is the second Italian insurance company. The group is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and is a core client of the SG Group.
