On 22 January 2010 the Department of the Treasury of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Italy announced the Ranking of Super Primary Dealers in Italian Government Bonds for the year 2009.

SG CIB ranked 2nd among the 21 Super Primary Dealers for the year.

The achievement of the top position for 2009 in a market environment characterized by increased volatility and liquidity constraints, confirms SGCIB as a key counterparty for the Italian Treasury and for European and International investors active in securities issued by the Republic of Italy.

The ranking also highlights SGCIB's commitment to the Italian Treasury and the Italian market and it consolidates its already solid positions achieved in the past years. In fact, SG CIB ranked 1st in 2008 and 3rd in 2007 among the Super Primary Dealers.

This prestigious award further confirms SG CIB as a leading player in the Italian capital markets.
